The motto of National Service Scheme is NOT ME BUT YOU

NSS program aims to inculcate social welfare in students and to provide service to the society without bias. NSS volunteers work to understand community in which they work and ensure that everyone who is in needy get help to enhance their standard of living. By doing so, the volunteers utilise their knowledge in finding practical solutions in individual and community problems, they gain skills in mobilising community participation and practice capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters, thereby develop national integration and social-harmony.

Our college NSS acts under the guidance of the NSS cell of University of Madras. There are three NSS units operating successfully under the leadership of three programme officers duly appointed by NSS cell of University of Madras. Each NSS unit have 100 volunteers from first and second year students of both shift I and II.
