Report on the 76^th Republic Day Celebration at Chellammal Women’s College

The 76^th Republic Day was celebrated with great patriotism and enthusiasm at Chellammal Women’s College on 26th January 2025. The event commenced with the rendition of Tamizhthai Vazhthu, invoking a sense of reverence and unity among everyone present.

Our esteemed Principal Dr. V. Malarvizhi had the honour of hoisting the National Flag, which was followed by a well-coordinated march-past by the first-year students, reflecting discipline and national pride. The gathering then solemnly took the pledge to uphold the principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity as enshrined in the Indian Constitution.

The Principal then addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of Republic Day and encouraging students to uphold democratic values and work towards the betterment of society. Following the speech, cultural programs were conducted, including inspiring speeches and vibrant dance performances by the students, which enriched the patriotic atmosphere.

As part of the celebration, a prize distribution ceremony was held to recognize and award students for their achievements in various fields. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers, followed by the National Anthem, which marked the end of the program on a proud and patriotic note.
