RED RIBBON CLUB

The Red Ribbon Club of Chellammal Women’s College functions as an active student awareness forum that promotes responsible health practices and informed living among youth, particularly in the areas of HIV/AIDS awareness and preventive education. The club’s activities are carried out in accordance with directions issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu, and students are regularly deputed to participate in awareness campaigns and outreach programmes conducted at the institutional and community levels.
Through peer interaction and participation, the club encourages, positive lifestyle choices, and empathetic attitudes towards individuals affected by illness, enabling students to take part in public health awareness both within and beyond the campus.
