Department of history
The Department of History was started in the year 1973 as Allied paper for the Department of economics with one batch of students. The Department housed on the first floor (Right Wing) of the old building and headed by one staff with one batch of students. In the 1986, the sanctioned strength was increased to 100 students and made into two batches.
