• NSS units of Chellammal college conducted a rally on eve of Independence day as ( Azadi ka Amruth Mohatsav) with 200 students participated from Chellammal college to Guindy railway station.

• Higher education department & NSS units of our college took pledge against Drug. It was a Drive against Drug (DAD) which was inaugurated by our Chief Minister and it was a live telecast which was shown to our college students. In continuation of this drive Assistant Commissioner of Guindy Thiru. S. Siva delivered a lecture to nearly 1000 students to create awareness about drug abuse on 17/08/2022.
• Sadbhavana Diwas that is National Integration day which was celebrated to keep the country unified and strong from with in despite the diversity .Our college students and staff took the Oath regarding the Communal harmony on 18/08/2022.

• Free sanitary pads were distributed to all the students to educate cleanliness & usage of sanitary destroyer installed in our college Campus.
• Free training to students on Silambam & parai art is being organized NSS and Nimiruv Kalaiyagam organization has taken up this free service.
• With 20 NSS volunteers from different colleges attended the commemoration of 151th Birth Aniversary of V. O. Chidambaram freedom fighter in Raj Bhavan.
• NSS unit and MN eye hospital thondaiarpet organized eye screening for nearly 800 students in our college campus. As a success of the program nearly 10 students are registered for eye donation.
• APJ Abdul Kalam sir 91^st Birthday Celebration on Mega awareness GreenEvent Organized in Besant Nagar. Nearly 50 volunteers participated in the programme.
• 139 NSS volunteers visited Aringar Anna Centenary Library at Kotturpuram to gain knowledge on Moothaignar Rajaji’s rare photos exibuted in the library.
• Under Naan Mudalvan scheme exposure visit of govt school students to our college was organized by our NSS units and from three different schools 20 students visit.
• Children’s Education film federation & NSS units of our college organized motivation movie – Kulandhaigain Irumbu Penmani film telecasted in our Auditorium and all the students from shift I & shift II viewed the film.
• Food awareness programme was organized by Chandrasekaran educational and charitable trust was arranged for seminar to create awareness ,135 NSS volunteers gain knowledge on wastage of food, healthy living.
• Special camp for 7 days was organized by our NSS units. Three village were selected in Thiruvallur village with many programmes.
