YOUTH RED CROSS 2021-22
1. The Youth Red Cross(YRC) unit of Chellammal Women’s College in association with Indian Red cross Society (Tamil Nadu Branch) and MN Eye hospital, Adyar, Chennai proposed to organize an “Eye Screening Camp” for two days i.e., on 17th and 18th Nov 2021. In shift-I 158 students and staff members underwent eye screening test and in shift-II 104 students and staff members underwent eye screening test.

3. On account of Nation deworming week between 14/3/2022 to 21/3/2022 Youth red Cross unit distributed Albendazole tablet received from Chennai corporation to all students.

4. On account of World Health day on 7th April and World Homeopathy day on 10th April, a seminar on Health and Homeopathy Awareness was organised on 19th April 2022. Dr.Deepa, Homeopathy practitioner addressed the students. About 150 students attended the programme.

5. On account of World Earth Day a rally was organised by YRC unit of our college on 25th April 2022. Students actively participated and created awareness among other students about importance of preserving our Mother Earth.
