COLLEGE 2018-19
The installation programme of Rotaract Club of Chellammal Women’s College was conducted on 14th August 2018 followed by self-defence programme; the participants were enjoyed very cheerfully. Rally in Besant Nagar Beach on World Heart Day was organized to the students for creating awareness about heart diseases on September 29, 2018. Spoken English Course was started on 13th October 2018. This programme is very useful to the students of future generation. During Deepavali festival, on 22nd October 2018 Koduthalthan Kondattam programme was conducted by Rotary Club of Chennai, East R A Puram, Chennai -28. The plantation programme was also arranged at Chellammal Women’s College to protect our environment. The programme name “Polio Free India” was organised by Rotary Club to give awareness to the public on 24th October 2018.Our Rotaract students attended two day conference conducted by District Rotract Council 2018-19 “Matram – Sikarathai Nookhi” on 16th and 17th February, 2019. On 23rd February 2019, Empower the Girl Child (Self Defence) ‘Grand Finale – 5000 students programme was arranged in Chellammal campus. Out Rotaract students have participated in Nakshatra-15 at D.G. Vaishnav College on 3rd March 2019.
