STUDENTS UNION INAUGURATION REPORT 2024 – 2025

On January 29, 2025, the students of Chellammal Women’s College witnessed a momentous occasion with the inauguration of the Students’ Union for the academic year. The event, held at the esteemed Chellammal Arangam, was honored by the distinguished presence of Thiru V. Kamaraja, IPS (Retd.), ADGP, Haryana, as the Chief Guest.

The ceremony commenced with a heartfelt welcome address by Dr. K. Chithra Devi, Assistant Professor of Economics. Our Principal, Dr. V. Malarvizhi, the Chief Patron of the event, then took the stage, delivering an insightful speech that underscored the significance of student leadership, teamwork, and the pivotal role students play in shaping the future.

Dr. D. Rajakumari, Assistant Professor of English, introduced the Chief Guest, Thiru V. Kamaraja, IPS, who was warmly received by an enthusiastic audience of students. The Chief Guest was then invited to introduce the newly elected office bearers of the Students’ Union, presenting them with badges as a symbol of their new responsibilities.

Following this, the office bearers took their oath, pledging to serve the student community with integrity and dedication. In his motivational address, Thiru V. Kamaraja, IPS, emphasized the importance of discipline, hard work, and social responsibility. He urged the students to actively engage in contributing to their community and the nation.
