Rotaract Club of Chellammal Women’s College takes great initiatives to provide the students with access to the indispensable activities to transform their lives better through impactful service programs. In this respect, Rotaract Club of CWC joins hands with East RA Puram Rotaract Club Dist. 3233 and organized a programme on “Financial Aid and Self Defence” on 16th December, 2024.
Rtn. Ganapathy Suresh, DGND, was the Chief Guest, Speaking on the Occasion, he shared the experiences of his accomplishments and encouraged students to enhance their knowledge and skill in Professional development productively and advised them to reward it back to the college in multitude when they become successful.
Dr.V.Malarvizhi, Principal, Chellammal Women’s College, felicitated the Chief Guests and the Rotarians and commended the East RA Puram Rotaract Club for their unswerving support rendered to the CWC Rotaract Club students in her felicitation speech. While addressing the gathering, Dr. P. Vimala, Co-ordinator of CWC Rotaract Club cited the famous quote from Thirukural, “One who gives food is a giver of Life” to appreciate the financial contribution worth Rs.50,000 cheque, which was handed over to Food Project of CWC by the Rotary Club of East RA Puram.
“Earn while you Learn”, Central Govt. of India has initiated a Special Recruitment Drive for aspiring women students (BIMA SAKHI) through LIC. which was well interpreted by Mr.Selva Muthukumar, Division Manager, LIC, Mount Road and he added how the aspirant women student trainees can enable her earning to pay educational and other expenses while studying through the attractive benefits from being the full time and part time LIC agents.
Finally the programme came to a successful end with the long awaited Self Defence programme by Rtn.Shihan.Dr.AR.Sundar, who demonstrated the Basic Karate steps to the students which was impressively responded by the students.

சுழற்சங்க மாணவர் அமைப்பு 2024 – 2025

செல்லம்மாள் மகளிர் கல்லூரி மற்றும் சுழற்சங்கம் இணைந்து 16.08.2024 அன்று கல்லூரி சுழற்சங்க அமைப்பும் மற்றும் புத்தக வங்கியும் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இந்நிகழ்விற்கு ஆங்கிலத்துறை உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் முனைவர் தி.இராஜகுமாரி அவர்கள் வரவேற்புரை நல்கி துவங்கி வைத்தார். முதுகலைத் தமிழியல் மற்றும் உயராய்வுத் துறைத்தலைவர் முனைவர் ப.விமலா அவர்கள் சுழற்சங்க அமைப்பின் கடந்த காலச் செயல்பாடுகளைக் காணொளி வழியாக விளக்கினார்.
கல்வி மட்டுமே வாழ்க்கையை உயர்த்தும் ஆயுதம் அதை முறையாக கற்று வாழ்க்கைக்கு பயன்படுத்துங்கள் என்று கல்லூரி முதல்வர் முனைவர் வே.மலர்விழி அவர்கள் தலைமையுரை ஆற்றினார். மேலும் சழற்சங்கத்தின் ஒவ்வொரு துறைகளுக்கும் 5000 மதிப்பிலான புத்தகங்கள் வழங்குதல், மாணவர்களுக்கு உணவு வழங்கும் திட்டம் போன்ற செயல்பாடுகளைப் பாராட்டி வாழ்த்தினார். சுழற்சங்கத்தின் மாவட்டச் செயலாளர் D.விஜயகுமார் அவர்கள் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக பங்கேற்றார். மேலும் மாணவர்களுக்கு கல்வியின் முக்கியத்துவம், செல்வத்தின் பயன், பிறருக்கு கொடுப்பதில் தான் மகிழ்ச்சி போன்ற கருத்துக்களை எதார்த்தமான நடையில் உரையாடி மாணவர்கள் மனதில் பதிய வைத்தார்.
இந்நிகழ்வில் நமது கல்லூரியின் பொருளாதாரத்துறைச் சார்ந்த மேனாள் இணைப் பேராசிரியர் முனைவர் சித்ராதேவி அவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு, உணவு வழங்கும் திட்டத்திற்காக 5000 ரூபாய் நல்கினார். சுழற்சங்கத்தைச் சார்ந்த முனைவர் P.R. சீனிவாசன் அவர்கள், செயலாளர் Rtn.K.கண்ணன் அவர்கள், Rtn.E.H.ராவ் அவர்கள், Rtn.சின்ன சேவகன் அவர்கள் போன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள் பலரும் கலந்து கொண்டு வாழ்த்துரை வழங்கினர். சழற்சங்கத்தின் மாணவர்களின் பிரதிநிதிகளாக மூன்று மாணவியர்கள் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டனர்.
சுழற்சங்கத்தின் தலைவராக ஆங்கிலத்துறை மூன்றாமாண்டு மாணவி k.ஸ்வேதா அவர்களும், செயலராக தமிழ்த்துறை மூன்றாமாண்டு மாணவி சீ.ஹரிக்ருபா அவர்களும், பொருளாளராக வணிகவியல் துறை மூன்றாமாண்டு மாணவி M. கிருத்திகா அவர்களும் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டனர். இந்நிகழ்வின் நிறைவாக தமிழ்த்துறை உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் முனைவர் கி.புவனேஸ்வரி அவர்கள் நன்றியுரை வழங்கினார்.
கல்லூரியின் உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் சழற்சங்கத்தின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர்களுமான முனைவர் K.சித்ரா தேவி அவர்கள் (பொருளாதாரத் துறை), முனைவர் தி.இராஜகுமாரி அவர்கள் (ஆங்கிலத்துறை), முனைவர் A.அன்புச்செல்வி அவர்கள் (விலங்கியல் துறை), முனைவர் S.ஜெயலக்ஷ்மி அவர்கள் (வணிகவியல் துறை), முனைவர் கி.புவனேஸ்வரி அவர்கள் (தமிழ்த்துறை), முனைவர் C.ரேவதி அவர்கள் (வேதியியல் துறை), முனைவர் R.சண்முகப்பிரியா அவர்கள் (பொருளாதாரத்துறை), மற்றும் முனைவர் ச.யோகேஸ்வரி அவர்கள் (தமிழ்த்துறை) போன்ற பேராசிரியர்கள் இணைந்து நிகழ்வினை ஒருங்கிணைத்தனர். இந்நிகழ்வில் நூற்றுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவியர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு பயன் பெற்றனர்.
