DEPARTMENT:<\/strong><\/h3><h4>Our main objective of physical education is to develop physical, mental and social well being of an individual. Apart from that we upgrade our students in Health related fitness and Skill related fitness. In the first semester, students usually do practicing for the various sports and games and participate in the inter collegiate (A Zone) tournaments. We make our students enthusiastically participate and achieve in various sports and games. <br \/>Our elite players have participated in inter zonal tournaments and obtained FORM III (Madras university) certificates. Besides this, we make our students participate in few state level open tournaments in the first semester. In the second semester with keen interest we conduct the intramural (inter department) sports and games to develop the interest in participating in sports and create awareness about the physical fitness among the students. <br \/>College Sports Day is conducted every year in a grand manner. In this regard we form a sports committee which includes staffs and students office bearers. We all work together for the sports day schedule and conduct sports and games for shift I and shift II students separately. We make draw with lots in-front of the staff sports committee and students office bearer and captains. We conduct all the events in our campus except athletics. We distribute the prize during the sports day.
