Sport is a metaphor for life , more often than not ; the situation one faces in\u00a0game or on the field have plenty in common with life situations like ambition , competition, perseverance , team work, attitude etc.<\/h5><\/li><li><h5>Sports is not just fun and play. 60<\/strong><\/h4><\/li><\/ol><ul><li><h5>To promote sports and foster participatory spirit the college authorities organize and conduct various events every year.<\/h5><\/li><li><h5>The following is the list of meritorious winners from Shift I for this year.<\/h5><\/li><\/ul><h5>1.The overall championship was bagged by the defending champions COMMERCE with a grand total of\u00a0 201 points.<\/h5><h5>2.The second place was secured by the department of ECONOMICS with 175 points.<\/h5><h5>3.The third place goes to the department of\u00a0 TAMIL with the total of\u00a0 86 points.<\/h5><h3><strong>In shift \u2013 II<\/strong>,<\/h3><h5>1.The overall championship was bagged by\u00a0 <strong>B.COM(G) <\/strong>with\u00a0 <strong>203 <\/strong>points.<\/h5><h5>2.The second place was won by\u00a0 <strong>B.COM(CS) <\/strong>with a total of <strong>185 <\/strong>points.<\/h5><h5>3.The third place was won by <strong>B.COM\u00a0 (A&amp;F) <\/strong>with a total of
